Baba Garia Mission is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting rural and tribal communities of Tripura through education, skill development, and social service. Since its founding in 2001, the Mission has worked to ensure that every child has access to quality learning and every youth gains the skills needed for self-reliance. Our flagship institution, Garia Academy, along with several junior basic and pre-primary schools, provides holistic education blended with cultural and moral values. Beyond classrooms, we run vocational training centers, drop-out coaching programs, and health awareness initiatives to build confident, capable citizens. Guided by a spirit of compassion and community, Baba Garia Mission continues to light the path of progress—turning learning into empowerment and service into transformation.

At Baba Garia Mission, our aim is to build an educated, self-reliant, and compassionate society where every individual—regardless of background—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully. We strive to bridge the gap between rural potential and modern progress through accessible education, vocational training, and social development initiatives.
Our mission is to nurture both knowledge and character. We focus on quality schooling through Garia Academy and other institutions, provide skill-based training for youth and women, and organize programs in health, culture, and sports to promote holistic growth. Through community participation and transparent service, we seek to empower families, preserve local heritage, and inspire a new generation of responsible citizens who carry forward the light of learning and humanity.

Our Schools
Education is the foundation of Baba Garia Mission’s service to society. To bring quality learning within the reach of every tribal child, the Mission has established a network of residential and non-residential schools across Tripura. Our flagship institution, Garia Academy, is a CBSE-affiliated model school located at Garia Hathai, Udaipur, offering modern education blended with cultural values. Alongside it, several academies such as Yari Academy, Khuluma Academy, Lampra Academy, Khumpui Vidya Mandir, Hamari Academy, Mailuma Academy, and Aranya Pada Humuku Academy are nurturing young minds in rural and hilly regions. Each school provides accessible education, hostel facilities where needed, and holistic development through academics, sports, and moral instruction. Guided by the vision of the Jamatia Hoda, these schools strive to build a generation of confident, skilled, and socially responsible citizens dedicated to the progress of their community and nation.
